St John the Evangelist Lund takes safeguarding matters seriously and adheres to the policies and requirements of the Diocese of Blackburn for the care of children and vulnerable adults. As a parish/church we have adopted the House of Bishops "Promoting a Safer Church" policy and the Parish Safeguarding Handbook, incorporating the House of Bishops Safeguarding Policy and Practice Guidance.

REPORTING A CONCERN
Any safeguarding concerns in the parish should in the first instance be brought to the attention of the Parish Safeguarding Officer or Vicar, who will seek further advice from the Diocesan Safeguarding or Assistant Safeguarding Adviser (DSA), as necessary.
