The Parish of Lund is fortunate in being one of a reducing number of parish churches to have a four part choir which sings at the main service of the week on a Sunday, and by invitation at weddings and funerals in the Church.

Its members are a dedicated bunch who enjoy meeting together to sing. They would be the first to say that what they lack in technical ability they try and make up with their enthusiasm and dedication to worship at Lund.

Numbers have reduced in the past year or so as members move away etc, but they are always hopeful interest will be shown by prospective but reluctant choristers (they are out there somewhere) who might feel called to join the ranks.

The choir rehearses in Church every Thursday evening at 7pm in the winter months and 7.30pm in the summer. It is a friendly group, welcoming and affirming and keen to increase its numerical strength.

If anyone is thinking about joining please be assured that the ability to read music is not a prerequisite, a sense of humour helps as does a degree of enthusiasm.
